Swiss Accounting with einzly
Your books run. You run the business.
We don't count your receipts. We do look at what kind of business you run. einzly books your everyday transactions automatically, and FIN steps in where judgment is needed: controlling, year end and your corporate tax return.
All in English, for your GmbH or AG in Switzerland. Less time with receipts, more time for your company, and a real chance to get your Sunday back.
Judgment where it counts.
Software handles the routine, and a person at FIN looks at everything that needs a second pair of eyes.
The Power Duo: FIN x einzly
einzly books. FIN checks.
einzly is Swiss accounting software that books your transactions automatically, now with double entry bookkeeping for GmbH and AG. FIN adds the human part: we review the exceptions, close your year and file your corporate tax return. You get one setup, one contact and numbers you can read.
Everyday bookkeeping, automated
einzly scans your receipts, categorises them with AI and reconciles your bank via camt.053/054. Swiss QR invoices, debtors, creditors and VAT (effective or net tax rate method) run in the same place.
Judgment from FIN
Each month we review what einzly flags as unclear, such as unmatched bank items, uncertain categorisations or duplicates. We also run controlling, close the year under the Swiss Code of Obligations and file your corporate tax return.
One place for the rest
Your bookkeeping lives in einzly. Your documents, your questions and the status of your year end and corporate tax return live in the FIN portal, protected by two factor authentication.
Accounting for your
GmbH or AG.
einzly takes care of the daily bookkeeping, and FIN takes care of everything that needs a trained eye. You choose how much of the second part you want.
Every service comes in plain English and with a clear price.
Automated bookkeeping (einzly)
learn more
einzly books your everyday transactions, so you don't have to.
Receipts are scanned and categorised with AI, bank statements are reconciled via camt.053/054, and your QR invoices, debtors and creditors stay up to date. Double entry bookkeeping for GmbH and AG is built in. FIN reviews the exceptions every month, so small issues don't turn into year end problems.
Controlling
learn more
Know during the year where your company stands.
Each quarter we go through your key figures, liquidity and open items with you on a call. You see trends early and can act before something becomes urgent. Quarterly controlling is included in Premium and available in Starter at CHF 300 per hour.
Year end and corporate tax return
learn more
Annual financial statements and corporate tax return, prepared by FIN.
We close your financial year and prepare the annual financial statements according to the Swiss Code of Obligations. Based on them, we prepare and file your company's tax return. Both are included in Premium and available as add-ons in Starter.
Expert and strategic questions ad hoc
learn more
A clear answer when a decision is on the table.
Salary or dividend? Hire now or later? Invest, or keep the cash? Short questions by email are part of every package, and Premium includes 3 hours of advisory per year. Beyond that we work at CHF 300 per hour.
From first call to running books in three steps
Free call and fit check
Step one
Tell us what your company does, how many accounts you have and where you want support. In a free call we check whether einzly and FIN fit your business, and if they don't, we tell you. You leave the call knowing which package fits and what it costs.
How it works →Setup in einzly
Step two
FIN sets up your einzly account, maps the chart of accounts to the Swiss Code of Obligations structure, sets up the import of your bank statements (camt.053/054) with the matching rules, and configures your VAT method and codes. You bring your bank statements, your VAT details and, for an existing company, the closed balance sheet of your last financial year. We start at the beginning of a financial year, not in the middle of running books. You subscribe to einzly Pro directly; the setup is a one time fee, listed under add-ons.
How it works →It runs
Step three
einzly books your transactions as they come in. Each month FIN reviews the exceptions, such as unmatched bank items or duplicates. You see your numbers whenever you want, and at year end the work in your package gets done. That is how you get your Sunday back.
How it works →Packages that grow with your company
All prices in CHF excl. VAT and billed yearly; the einzly licence is paid directly to einzly.

Questions about
Swiss accounting?
Here's what owners of a GmbH or AG usually ask before they start with FIN and einzly.
What does einzly do in my Swiss accounting?
einzly is Swiss accounting software that books automatically. It scans receipts and categorises them with AI, reconciles your bank via camt.053/054, creates Swiss QR invoices, manages debtors and creditors and handles VAT with the effective or the net tax rate method. Payroll also runs via einzly.
What does FIN do if einzly books automatically?
FIN steps in where judgment is needed. We review the exceptions einzly flags, run controlling, prepare the annual financial statements under the Swiss Code of Obligations, file your corporate tax return and answer expert and strategic questions. Everyday bookkeeping runs without a person in the loop.
Does einzly support double entry bookkeeping for a GmbH or AG?
Yes. einzly now delivers double entry bookkeeping for GmbH and AG, which Swiss law requires for both legal forms. FIN maps your chart of accounts to the Swiss Code of Obligations structure during setup.
Why don't you price by the number of receipts?
Because receipt volume says little about how much work your accounts need. einzly books the routine automatically. What drives the effort is your type of business, your accounts, currencies and payroll, so that is what our packages are based on.
What happens if my company outgrows Starter?
If you go beyond the Starter limits, for example more accounts, a foreign currency or employees, we talk with you first and agree on the next step together. We never change your package or your price retroactively.
Who owns my accounting data, and what if I leave?
Your company holds the einzly licence and pays einzly directly, so your books stay in your own einzly account. If you stop working with FIN, your bookkeeping stays where it is, and you keep the statements and tax returns we prepared for you.
Who files my VAT returns?
In Premium, FIN prepares and files your VAT returns. In Starter you can add VAT returns at CHF 180 per filing, or file them yourself based on the figures in einzly.
Who signs the annual financial statements of my GmbH or AG?
FIN prepares the annual financial statements. Under the Swiss Code of Obligations, the annual report is signed by the chair of your board or managing directors and by the person responsible for financial reporting in your company (Art. 958 para. 3 CO). The shareholders then approve it at the general meeting.
Should I pay myself a salary or a dividend?
It depends on your company's profit, your personal tax situation and your pension plans. Salary is subject to social security contributions, while dividends are taxed differently and can benefit from partial taxation. The authorities expect an appropriate salary, so the mix needs care. Premium includes a yearly salary or dividend check; in Starter we look at it as ad hoc advisory.
Can I handle Swiss accounting in English, even with the authorities?
Yes. Swiss tax and VAT authorities correspond in German, French or Italian, depending on where your company is based. We work with you in English and handle the exchange with the authorities in the official language for the services in your package.
How secure is my data?
Access to your documents in the FIN portal is protected by two factor authentication. FIN and einzly both operate under Swiss data protection law.
Do you work with restaurants or sole proprietors?
We don't offer this service for gastronomy and restaurants, because their cash and stock processes need a different setup. If you run a sole proprietorship, have a look at our tax return for sole proprietors via einzly.
What does the CHF 490 setup cover?
The one time setup covers your einzly account, the chart of accounts mapped to the Swiss Code of Obligations structure, the import of your bank statements (camt.053/054) with matching rules, your VAT method and codes, and the opening balance.
How do you set up my chart of accounts?
We set up your chart of accounts in einzly and map it to the structure of the Swiss Code of Obligations. That way your bookkeeping, your annual financial statements and your tax return all build on the same basis.
What do I need for the opening balance?
For a new company, we start from your founding balance. If your company already exists, bring the closed balance sheet of your last financial year and we take it over as the opening balance.
Can I switch to FIN and einzly in the middle of a financial year?
No. We don't take over running books mid year, because a clean start avoids mixing two systems in one year. You can switch at the beginning of a new financial year, and we can prepare everything ahead of that date.
Do you set up VAT registration and the VAT method?
If your company is already registered for VAT, we configure your method, effective or net tax rate, and the matching codes in einzly. If not, we check with you whether registration is required or makes sense. Registration is mandatory once your annual turnover from taxable supplies reaches CHF 100,000.
How does payroll via einzly work?
Payroll runs in einzly. Premium fits companies with payroll for up to 3 people. In Starter, a year end payroll review by FIN is available on request.
Is the einzly licence included in your price?
No, and we say so openly. Your company pays the einzly Pro licence directly to einzly; the current price is on einzly.ch. Our package prices cover FIN's work only.
What is the difference between Starter and Premium?
Starter covers the review of exceptions, a quarterly check of debtors and creditors, one interim report, short questions by email and an annual review call. Premium adds VAT returns, annual financial statements, the corporate tax return, quarterly controlling with a call, a salary or dividend check and 3 hours of advisory per year.
Which add-ons can I book with Starter?
You can add VAT returns (CHF 180 per filing), annual financial statements (CHF 1'290), the corporate tax return (CHF 590), interim financial statements (CHF 490) and ad hoc advisory or controlling at CHF 300 per hour. Point of sale systems, inventory and e-commerce are on request after a call.
How are the packages billed?
All prices are in CHF excl. VAT. The monthly amounts are billed once a year.
Can I move from Starter to Premium later?
Yes. We agree the date of the change with you, and the new package applies from then on. Nothing is charged retroactively.
Is Premium cheaper than booking everything separately?
Yes. Bought separately, the Premium services add up to about CHF 7'900 per year. As a package they cost about 25 percent less.
Is the first call really free?
Yes. In the first call we get to know your company, check whether einzly and FIN fit, and tell you which package makes sense. There is no obligation.
Will I have one contact person at FIN?
Yes. You have one point of contact at FIN who knows your company and your numbers, from setup to year end.
How quickly do you answer ad hoc questions?
Short questions by email are part of every package. We confirm that your question has arrived and tell you when to expect the answer, so you can plan your decision.
Do you work with companies in all cantons?
Yes. We work with GmbH and AG companies in every Swiss canton.
Do you keep track of deadlines?
Yes. For the services in your package, we keep track of VAT, year end and tax deadlines and request extensions where needed.
